Italkart Dominates in DD2 Debut

Italkart dominated in the debut of the DD2 chassis in the Toyota Never Quit Grand Prix in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Italkart factory driver Scott Campbell started the dominating form early on Friday in practice and continued it all the way through the the last final on Sunday. Campbell would qualify by .592 seconds on Saturday and by .367 seconds on Sunday. In the pre-finals Scott would gap the other competitors every lap by more and by the end would lead by 8.828 seconds on Saturday and 11.595 seconds on Sunday. Campbell would continue this form in the finals and would finish the races leading by 13.288 seconds on Saturday and by 15.662 seconds on Sunday. Scott’s teammate Jayson Clunie also ran the new Italkart DD2 and would end up in 4th both days.
